Perfect Day

Every couple wants their wedding day to be perfect. Unfortunately, that's a tall order, and at least a few things may go wrong. If that happens there is always a way to keep things flowing smoothly.

The key is to stay calm and collected, and stay with the plan. The day belongs to the bride and groom, and whatever they want should rule the day.As you get ready to start planning your wedding, decide exactly what you want. Once you make certain choices, they will be hard to change. Sit down with your fiance and discuss your plans.

Most likely you'll have budget constraints, so you need to know what you absolutely must have and what you'd be willing to let go.The first major decision to be taken is on the date of the wedding. If your plan is to get married in a church or any other institution then you have to be sure of the availability of the institution on that particular date, else you may have to go for an alternate date. Therefore it is important to have alternate dates so that you do not get overtly disappointed at non-availability of venue.

Next important planning is to be done on the budget. Plan the budget carefully and remain within your limits of finances and time. Where ever possible think of ways where you can cut costs. For example find out costs for different services with different vendors to be able to choose the best and most inexpensive alternative. When it's time to begin buying wedding things, make a list of everything you need, what it will cost, and then stick to that. Talk with merchants in your locale, as they may be willing to give you a good price. It certainly won't hurt to ask.Choosing the photographer for your wedding is one of the most important decisions that you'll make since your photos, like your memories, will last a life time. Take your time looking for the right photographer before making your final decision. Ask to see plenty of samples so that you can see the range of photos that the photographer can take. You want to be certain that the pictures that you want are possible.Decide on how many guests you plan to invite, but be realistic about it. Your budget may not allow for everyone you want to ask and in that case you'll have to shorten your list.

Think of the most important people in your lives first. After deciding on the head count you have to decide on the caterer that fits your budget. Do not decide on the caterer just on the basis of the cost factor, take also into account his reputation and services he is offering. Caterer cost also depends on the menu you want for the wedding party- so deciding on a good and reasonable menu is equally important. So you have to decide on a number of things while planning for your wedding. And to be sure that you have taken care of all aspects get somebody - a friend or sister to help you with the planning. And it definitely pays to have some body help you decide on things like music for the reception, the decorations and the menu etc.Even though it's a lot of work, be sure to have fun when you plan for your big day. After all it's one of the most special days you'll ever have.
